Theodora Kafkia

I am Clinical Lecturer of Nursing in Thessaloniki, Greece.
My past experience is mainly in HD (15 years) and in Anaesthetics (5 years as a sister).  I am an RN with MSc in Health and Exercise and a PhD candidate (writing the final proof of dissertation).  My dissertation is on Pain & Dialysis patients. 
My research interest is on renal care and education. 
I was a member of Education & Research Board from 2003-2012 and a coodinator for Greece of the EPD project of EDTNA.
A lot of presentations in Greek and International Conferences and publications in Greek and English.  Traslated into Greek and published the RENAL CARE book, Edited by Nicola Thomas. 
Participated in the Best Practice Guidelines on Vascular Access Care of the EDTNA & FMC as well as the Greek Best Practice Guidelines on Hypertension Management in the Primary Care Settings.
