Qualifications: Social entrepreneur with a new kidney and a will to change the world

In 2012, Peter founded the organization MOD- More organ donation in Sweden in order to increase the awareness of organ donation and transplantation in Sweden. MOD has reached out to millions of people in Sweden and doubled the number of people that registered in the donor registry during their first year. MOD, a patient driven initiative, is now working closely with the healthcare professionals to change the entire system in Sweden.

Peter will share MOD‘s experinces of how a two dedicated patients has changed how Sweden is working with organ donation and how a patient-driven initiative was able to use a more youthful and moderne approach to organ donation to start a movement for more organ donation in Sweden.
