Peter Hill

Dr Peter Hill is a Consultant Nephrologist and Clinical Lead at the West London Renal and Transplant Centre at Hammersmith Hospital in West London, the largest renal unit in Europe.  He is Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.

Dr Hill was appointed as Consultant Nephrologist at Hammersmith in 2007. He has a strong interest in cardiovascular complications in renal failure and has furthered this interest during his time at Hammersmith. He has developed clinical pathways for the management of CKD, bone mineralisation disease and has investigated the role of vitamin D in diabetic nephropathy.

He has been an invited speaker at National and International meetings presenting on aspects of metabolic bone disease in CKD and has published a number of papers in high impact medical journals.
