The patient is often the greatest untapped resource in medicine. Darrens main point is that life on dialysis is far from easy for patients, but, for those patients who desire to také an active role in there own health they must be included in their own treatment protocals. With a patient centred approach to treating CKD greater adherence to treatment will be achieved leading to better long term health results.
